TK-706 is an antique oak slat trunk. This antique trunk has alternating stained
oak slats. One slat is stained a nice oak color and the alternating slat an ebony
color. I am listing as an oak slat trunk as all of the slats that cover the trunk
appear to be oak. I can't tell if the horizontal slats are all oak but probably are.
There is a nice brass lock and I have found a key that works the lock. I've added
high quality triple stitched handles and am in the process of lining the interior
with a quality civil war period fabric with picture.
The size of this trunk is 32 1/2" L x 20 1/4" D x 25 1/2" H.
This trunk would be a nice addition to your trunk collection. It's not often that
you see the alternating stain oak slat trunks with slats this wide.
